  1. Sir Frank Macfarlane Burnet, OMAKKBEFRSFAAFRSNZ  (3 September 1899 – 31 August 1985), usually known as Macfarlane or Mac Burnet, was an Australian virologist best known for his contributions to immunology. He won a Nobel Prize in 1960 for predicting acquired immune tolerance and was best known for developing the theory of clonal selection.
  2. Gaston Egmond Thorn (3 September 1928 – 26 August 2007) was a Luxembourg politician who served in a number of high-profile positions, both domestically and internationally. Amongst the posts that he held were the 20th Prime Minister of Luxembourg (1974–79), President of the United Nations General Assembly (1975), and the seventh President of the European Commission (1981–85).
  3. Vivek Oberoi- Indian Actor  Vivek Anand Oberoi or Viveik Oberoi is a Bollywood actor. He is the son of Bollywood actor Suresh Oberoi.
  4. Kiran Desai- 
    Kiran Desai (born 3 September 1971) is an Indian author. Her novel The Inheritance of Loss won the 2006 Man Booker Prize and the National Book Critics Award.
