How To enable Google Assistant on Android Phones- Easy Tutorial

We know that  Very Useful Google Assistant is now available on Android Marshmallow and Android Nougat running smartphones. There are some eligibility requirements however and your smartphone should have more than 1.5 GB of memory and 720p or higher screen resolution. So it is time to  Learn how to turn on Google Assistant on Any Android Smartphone

  1. To  Update your Google App to the latest version

    First check whether you have the latest version, if not then 
    Update your Google App to the latest version.

  2. Tap on Google app

    Now tap on Google app to launch it

  3. Hamburger menu go to settings

    Click on Hamburger menu and then go to settings

  4. Enable Google Assistant

    Now tap on “Enable Google Assistant”.
    This will enable Google Assistant on your smartphone. You can test it by tapping and holding on Home button. This should launch Google assistant.

  5. if this doesn’t work


    In case if this doesn’t work, try changing Phone language to “English US” and try above steps again.

    1.Go to Settings–>Languages & Input
    2.Move “English (United States)” up as preferred language
    3.In case English (United States) is not available, you can get it by doing “Add a language”
